Delete your account

This page explains how to delete a student account on the IIT Medico Guide app or website, run by Alphastrive Education Guide LLP.

In the app

1. Open the IIT Medico Guide app and log in.
2. Go to Settings and tap Delete account.
3. Enter your password to confirm. The account is deleted straight away and you are logged out.

By asking us

From the mobile number registered on the account, send a WhatsApp or SMS to +91 70303 00666, or email [email protected], saying "Please delete my account" with the student's name and registered mobile number. A parent or guardian can ask for a child's account. We may call the registered number to confirm, and we delete the account within 7 days.

What is deleted and what is kept

• Deleted: name, mobile number, email, password, profile picture and other profile details. The account can no longer be used to log in, and all logged-in sessions end.
• Kept without your name: past test attempts and scores, so that other students' ranks and our question statistics do not change. They can no longer be linked to you.
• Kept as the law requires: records of payments and invoices, for the period the tax laws require, and security logs for at least one year.
• Proctoring photos are already deleted 30 days after each test.
